Pupils continued to build on their basic kitchen skills, learning how to use sharp knives safely, as well as considering the taste, smell and texture of their cooking. They made simple lunches including colourful salads, and explored different herbs and spices.
Year3
During the year, the children learnt basic kitchen skills as well as focussing on healthy eating. They designed their own sandwich and fruit salad using the ‘eat well plate’ as a guide.
