The whole school came together as we celebrated a shared love of literature ... and dressing up! Children and staff alike were caught up in the buzz of World Book Day, bringing to life characters from some of the world’s best-loved children’s classics. The children were welcomed at school by our ‘genie-us’ DT teacher Mr Pay who transformed himself into the Genie in the lamp. Luckily he found Aladdin to free him by the end of the day. The Lower School team, meanwhile, turned into the cast of the Wizard of Oz, and over in the Pre-Prep, the Queen of Hearts – aka Mrs Demicoli – was on hand to pass round the jam tarts at a special Alice in Wonderland themed tea party!
