What better way to kick-start the new year and new term than with a high energy dance show? Pupils in Years 5-8 (who take commercial dance lessons in school) were invited to rehearse for a special circus-themed dance story over two days prior to term starting. The hard work and packed rehearsal schedule paid off, and the resulting display delighted and wowed audiences at both the evening show and matinée the following day. The children coped brilliantly with some demanding choreography and several pupils even performed aerial stunts!

In the second half of the show, family and friends were able to see individual year group dances which the children have been working on in school over the last term. Special mention goes to our youngest dancers in Years 1 & 2 for having the confidence to hit the stage and put on a super performance at the matinee - in fact they loved the experience so much that they performed their dance twice - bringing the house down in the process!
