du Maurier Society 

The du Maurier Society is our Parents’ Association which organises a fantastic programme of fun and charitable social events for pupils and their families throughout the school year. The society, named after our famous alumnus Gerald du Maurier, plays a key role in bringing our whole school community together. Highlights include the fabulous annual Summer Ball for parents and teachers, our popular quiz night and a magnificent Fun Day in September for all the family to enjoy. The events committee also organises Christmas discos for Prep School children children and a spectacular Fireworks Night for the whole community. Fundraising activities support the work of many local and international charities as well as the school.  We use the GDPR-compliant platform Classlist to help our families stay connected and up to date with our events and school shop opening times. 

Parents are warmly invited to join the du Maurier events committee as a volunteer. It is a perfect opportunity to make new friends and be at the heart of school life.   If you would like more details or are interested in volunteering, please email dumaurier@heathmount.org
