Claws Out For Experimental Sound Art
Everybody wants to be a cat...or at least our DrawAble Club pupils, do! This week, children in Years 5-7 listened to cat sounds before getting their claws out to create some experimental feline art. Meow!
Year 4 Art Club, meanwhile, is focussing on plant power and the use of colour. Our young artists were found hidden among a jungle of plants in the basement art rooms creating some vibrant pictures. The Middle School Crafts Club also took a colourful approach this week with their weaving project, using a bright combination of materials. Our busy after-school art club scene also includes a junior pottery club and animation clubs as well as an art scholarship group. See more on our art instagram page @heathmountart
