In the last few weeks pupils have produced a wonderful array of mixed media artworks, pottery and fabric decorations with a festive theme.  Our young potters in Year 2 created a wonderful troupe of snowmen while Year 4 pottery club made some jolly Santas.  Further up the school Year 5 got to grips with origami to make colourful wreaths and also used the flour resist method to make some vibrant fabric tree decorations.  Year 8 art scholars showed their skills in acrylic and collage with their robin redbreasts while Year 6 displayed their increasing confidence with the media; producing abstract snow scenes around some famous artworks.
