Last night's Orchestras & Ensembles Concert featured talented instrumentalists from across the Prep School. The children tackled pieces by a broad range of composers including Handel, Tchaikovsky, George Harrison, Karl Jenkins and John Williams. In all, 11 groups of musicians played a huge variety of instruments including saxophone, guitar, tuba, french horn, flute, drum, cello and violin. Displaying maturity beyond their years, our Symphony Orchestra concluded the evening with The Romeo and Juliet Overture (arr. R Meyer) - playing for just over 7 minutes. Congratulations to our brilliant performers and to the dedicated music teachers who support and challenge them every step of the way! Watch some highlights below.
