Trip to Osmington Bay PGL Provides Dramatic Lessons In Coastal Erosion And Geology
Pupils departed for the Dorset coastline on Wednesday to begin their geography and team-building themed, 3-day adventure at Osmington Bay PGL near Weymouth. The pupils battled some rather wild weather to complete their outdoor challenges which included zip-lining and a sensory trail. Indoors, they tried street-boarding and worked on some fun team-building exercises which required plenty of collaboration and thinking outside of the box.
On their last day the group ventured to beautiful Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door to explore their coastal features and unique geology. The teachers were very impressed by the children's resilience, teamwork and positive attitude throughout the trip.
