Year 7 & 8 pupils raise £2,000 for Charity

Our Year 7&8 pupils showed great entrepreneurial flair with their fantastic array of stalls at this year's Fun Day event. They made just over £2,000 for our school charity partner Twende Education For All by selling home-made treats, jewellery, keyrings and House-themed scrunchies, or providing a fantastic selection of games which ranged from a Human Fruit Machine and mini-golf challenge to splat the senior.

Fun Day brought together over 850 members of the Heath Mount community including current families, staff and alumni.  Organised by our tireless Parents' Association, the du Maurier Society, the afternoon included a host of giant inflatables for the children to tackle as well as face painting and balloon modelling.  A delicious BBQ, candyfloss, sweets and cakes were also on offer.  A huge thank you to the du Maurier Committee and to all the parent and staff volunteers who made the day possible.
