Year 6 Give Stellar Performance

Last night, our super talented Year 6 pupils gave their final performance of Shrek The Musical Jr.   The 60-strong ensemble cast put on two memorable performances for their families, complete with irreverent humour and some showstopping songs including Let Your Freak Flag Fly, Big Bright Beautiful World and I'm A Believer. The standard of acting, singing and dancing was truly exceptional for this age group and the children should be incredibly proud of what they achieved.

It was a highly technical show involving multiple microphone, costume and scene changes which the children handled themselves. They were fortunate to be accompanied by our West-End style live band, led by Mr Fisher!  Mr Pay also created a magical set which allowed the cast to seamlessly move between story locations, as well as some brilliant props.  Congratulations to the entire cast and to their inspirational director, Mrs Mann, for such a brilliant production.
