Year 8 glam up for the premiere of their short films
Year 8 marked the end of their Heath Mount journey in glamorous fashion at their Black tie Leavers' Dinner & Oscars. On arrival, they joined their parents for a special photo-call on the red carpet before heading to the Fountain Lawn for a drinks reception and a delicious buffet prepared by our talented catering team. Despite the less-than-balmy conditions, it was wonderful to celebrate with Year 8 with the beautiful backdrop of the Woodhall Estate.
The party then moved to the sports hall for a special premiere of the children's films which they made with The Young Film Academy during their Leavers' Programme. Ed Boase from The Young Film Academy led the proceedings for our Oscars-style ceremony and everyone waited with bated breath as a roll-call of special guests opened the golden envelopes to reveal the winners!
