Michaelmas Giving
On Wednesday, the whole school turned out in red antlers for our first ever Rudolph Run in aid of Isabel Hospice. It was particularly heart-warming to see our senior pupils looking after the Pre-Prep children and encouraging them as they ran together around the course. Thank you to all of our families who helped us raise an incredible £1,884.
As well as our Rudolph Run in aid of Isabel Hospice, Prep School families have kindly supported Haven First in Stevenage. The team at Haven First in Stevenage were thrilled with the bumper delivery of toiletries and festive food items from the Lower School Reverse Advent Calendar initiative. Mr Beskeen and Mrs Parfitt delivered the many bags of goodies and wished everyone at Haven First the best for the Christmas period.
Years 5-8 meanwhile donated 81 new toys to be added to hampers sent out to vulnerable families in the local area via Jedidiah, a charity set up by Cynthia Stroud MBE and Pre-Prep packaged up dozens of shoeboxes filled with treats for children in war-torn Ukraine.
