At the start of the Michaelmas Term, Mr Brown (Head of IT) formed our first ever 'Tech Team' made up of Year 8 tech-savvy pupils.  Their role is to spread the word on how to use "tech" safely across the school community and this morning they showed their knowledge and expertise as they delivered their very first assembly to the Prep School.  The main theme of the team's talk was 'cyberbullying' - ending five days of special activities to mark Anti-Bullying Week.  Using a clever digital presentation, which featured a 'live' simulated WhatsApp conversation, the Tech Team showed how online bullying can easily occur and what to do about it.  Their hugely informative assembly also covered age limits and e-safety measures such as 'zip it, flag it, block it' to help avoid running into dangerous situations online.  We look forward to their next talk!
