Pupils came back to school for the Michaelmas term raring to go and none more so than our dance troupe who put on a fabulous show just two days in!  Our senior pupils spent three days prior to the show learning an entirely new dance sequence that paid homage to some famous superheroes!  Their hard work clearly paid off as they performed the new choreography in the theatre to thunderous applause from friends and family. 

The second-half of the show featured dances which individual year groups have been working on over the past year in their weekly commercial dance lessons.  The energetic set pieces, performed alongside music tracks by the likes of Will Smith and Selena Gomez, had a fun heroes and villains theme.  Mr Gillam congratulated the talented boys and girls from Years 1-8 who took part and thanked their dance teacher Miss Rason for putting together such a memorable show.

Commercial dance is one of several external-run clubs that children can sign up to at Heath Mount.  Other clubs include judo, ballet, cheerleading and football.  We also have an incredible range of in-house clubs run by our teaching staff that includes coding, STEM, chess, choirs and orchestras, gardening, athletics, animation, art, Spanish and much more.  For more information, see our CLUBS page.
