Immersive Day of History Ends In Egyptian-Style Banquet
Yesterday, Year 2 travelled down the Nile and back in time to explore the Ancient Egyptian civilisation. As well as enjoying the opportunity to wear some elaborate outfits, they designed and drew their own spectacular headpieces to create an Egyptian self portrait, carved a scarab beetle out of soap and made their own pharaoh mask. In the afternoon, they were joined by parents, grandparents and carers as they took part in the mummification of a pepper! For the grand finale, they tucked into a delicious Egyptian-style feast, prepared by our wonderful catering team.
