Our Heath Mount Equestrian Team were the first to compete on Saturday morning, which meant a 5.30am start for our Heath Mount riders and their ponies!

Willa P, Sophia M, Alexander M, Lizzy C and Ruby D competed in a Show Jumping Course and Eventertrial (Show Jumping & Cross Country phase) against schools from across the East of England at Brook Farm Equestrian Centre.

Despite this being their first ever team competition, and being amongst the youngest competitors, all the children rode brilliantly around a rather technical course. Our team came 3rd in the Eventertrial and 1st in the Show Jumping (14 years and under) qualifying for the National Championships!  Huge congratulations to the team and we look forward to hearing how they get on at the Nationals!
