Christmas Showtime!

This year's festive countdown began with the Lower School Christmas Extravaganza. Year 3 charmed us all with their wonderful class poems and delighted with their lively rendition of My Christmas Jumper. Year 4, meanwhile, brought humour and cheekiness with their humorous performance of Shoulda Been a North Pole Elf.  The children then came together to perform the beautiful and heart-warming rendition of Lights Will Lead Me Home. The show concluded on a magical note with a brilliant take on the poem 'Twas the Night Before Christmas.

Pre-Nursery and Nursery turned up the festive spirit another notch with their beautiful show When We Dream of Christmas. The children sang some favourite songs and rhymes and helped re-tell the Christmas story before a rousing finale of Everyone's In The Stable. There was another festive treat in store as Year 1 told the lovely story of Tinsel And The Lonely Christmas Tree.

Year 2, meanwhile, put on a musical production of Santa’s On Strike.  The children acted beautifully and sang with great energy, finishing with a rousing number entitled Blast Off.

Reception closed the term with their Stars and Smiles Nativity. It was a real treat to see their enjoyment and excitement as they sang, danced and spoke their lines so clearly. Their teachers were very proud of them. Afterwards, parents stayed behind to see a special photo reel of highlights from the Michaelmas term.

Well done to all of the children for their beautiful singing and acting!
