The children enjoyed a sunny, swashbuckling day of activities including creating hooks and treasure maps, firing water bomb cannon balls at the enemy and making boats that could float.   Of course no pirate day would be complete without a treasure hunt, too!  With the temperature rising there were no complaints as the pupils walked the plank and splashed into the cooling water.
